The Burning of Washington
The Burning of Washington was my semester project for a college drawing class taken in Spring 2018. The assignment was to create a twelve page comic: I fused my love of United States history and comic books together into a visual retelling of the invasion of Washington D.C. and burning of the White House by the British Navy during the War of 1812. Substantially researched, it is dramatic yet historically accurate retelling of one of America's darkest days.
